Citizen.ca currently offers anonymous reading and practice. Public account registration is disabled, and quiz scores are not saved to learner profiles.
Technical information
The server records technical access information, including IP addresses, requested pages, response codes, and timestamps, to operate and troubleshoot the service. Access logs are rotated by the server. The site does not include advertising trackers or third-party analytics in this initial version.
Practice activities
Interactive activities load from this website. Your selections are used in your browser to display feedback. The current setup does not intentionally store anonymous quiz answers in a learner database.
Editors and AI assistance
If the site owner enables AI assistance, article text and quiz drafts are sent to the configured AI provider for generation or translation. This feature is initially disabled. Reader quiz answers are not included in these requests. Editors should not put confidential personal information in material submitted to AI.
Administrative access
Administrator sign-in uses necessary WordPress cookies. The initial public learning experience does not require sign-in. Embedded external services, account features, or analytics would require this notice to be reviewed before they are introduced.
