Find your representatives and current officeholders

No recorded challenge is not proof of accuracy. A challenge under review is not a finding that the record is false.
Discover Canada asks learners to know their own representatives and government leaders. These answers depend on where they live and can change; official directories are more reliable than a fixed list copied into a study record.
Scope & context
Independent citizenship-study support. Read the cited official sources; this is not an official question bank or a guarantee of a test result.
More context
Prepare a personal checklist: Canada’s Sovereign; Governor General; prime minister and governing party; Official Opposition leader and party; your federal MP and riding; your premier and provincial/territorial representative; the lieutenant governor or territorial commissioner; your municipality and mayor; and your provincial/territorial capital.
Use the House of Commons member search by postal code, constituency or name. Use the official Governor General, Prime Minister, provincial/territorial legislature and municipality websites for the other answers. Recheck close to the test. You do not need to submit your address or personal answers to Citizen.ca. Older guide names and riding labels can be out of date.
