Gulf Islands National Park Reserve protects parts of British Columbia’s southern Gulf Islands in the Salish Sea, off the east coast of Vancouver Island. Eagles and seabirds soar overhead, and the sheltered, islet-dotted waters hold seals, otters, orcas and porpoises. The park reserve has rare ecosystems and a Mediterranean-like climate.
